I have continued to use Pub97 thru all the various upgrades of our pc over the past few years and have never had a problem until we recently upgraded to Windows 2000. Pub97 appears to have installed ok but upon trying to save a publication I get the following message: "Publisher cannot write to c:\program

IE freezes and Spontaneously reboots
And sometimes it loads up the "managing bookmarks" OK but when I click on a folder it then freezes for a while. But I can live with the bookmark problem as I've not noticed a slow-down even with 30 'tabs' and two 'windows'. Try having top running at the same time as Opera, and see if there are any clues there.

The installation part went ok but the system freezes whenever I try to fax out. I haven't found anything in "Mastering OS/2 Warp"(Dyson) where I usually .... WinFax might not be installed correctly if the SIO drivers are running. If this case, remark-out the SIO drivers to enable the original serial-port drivers.

Premature Windows closing problems
After 15 freezes (the screen just froze the frame, so you could still see the game but everything stopped)... i realized it was getting pretty hot in my unit (summer in ontario gets preeety warm...and man do I hate turning the A/C on...) so i installed another case fan to help with the circulation.

pc freezes
It sounds as if NAL starts fine and is operating OK but then at some point freezes/stops operating properly? At this point you "Shut Down and Restart NAL"? Does the issue only happen if you are running Cerner software or does it happen with Cerner installed but not running any processes or Window Services?

Windows Just Freezes!
Computer has been running a bit slow and has had odd lock ups, so when I bought a new game it directed me to defrag disk, install any windows updates and run check disk. As I said previously,my system seemed to be ok but a bit slow until I downloaded all the XP downloads then my system would not even boot up.

Odd problem
Up to a month ago I had FS9 installed since it was released and had it running with no problems whatsoever, but then I had to reinstall winxp and now all games and programs run What is strange is if I disable the opening screen it runs ok but when I end the flight to go to the select a flight screen it freezes.

I'm running Windows 98 with all the critical updates applied, DX7, with the latest versions of my video and audio drivers (TNT2 and Ensoniq AudioPCI).
